Software Engineer - Wealthbox
Starburst Labs is looking for a Software Engineer for Wealthbox , our web-and-mobile CRM software for financial advisors. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and customer support teams to quickly iterate on customer feedback. A typical day might include making an enhancement which saves a customer hours of time per week, improving user experience, or pairing with other engineers on the team to build new features. Requirements & Skills B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. Strong desire to learn the Ruby programming language and Rails framework. Knowledge of distributed version control systems like Git. Solid foundation of relational databases. Experience with Javascript and frameworks such as Angular a plus. Appreciation of UX and usability. Ability to communicate clearly and positively. Write clear, maintainable, tested code.
