The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the volunteer program consistent with Encompass Hospice. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for orientation, training, and coordination of all Encompass Hospice volunteers and for volunteer program administration and development of all service lines.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, typing, clerical skills, and be competent with computers.
A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Must have demonstrated experience in volunteer activity, and the ability to execute a supportive and sensitive approach to volunteer and patient/family needs.
Must be professional, organized and able to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
Must possess a valid state driver's license and automobile liability insurance.
